Been checking that famous auction site, and I see several Ford factory head units that play MP3s & CDR's and, obviously, fit our dashes. Not looking for big sound anyway, but would like mp3 functionality. My factory 10-stack handles CDR's, but not MP3. Is the Mach unit a direct plug and play kind of thing?
Will it still control my changer? I guess it's not all that important, since one MP3 CDR holds more than my entire changer stuffed with .cda files on CDR. I'd give up the changer for MP3 in-dash, but would rather not if I dont have to.
My car is a base '97 with JBL, if that makes any difference.
