im looking for a 96 eec, ran code and end up w/ the eec is badd

heres the story got the car bought a diablo chip from a local speed shop and had to take it back bout 3 or 4 x's to get checked out kept getting c.e. had code ran and came back bad o2's and ran code bout two weekd ago and came back bad eec.......so if i can if possible borrow one to see if the eec is bad that could help...
now i heard that you have to have the chip to run code true or not, i had code ran when i had my 95 cougar w/ chip in

ok heres the deal what i want to do is try one out to see if it fixes my problem if it is possible for me to test it first and if it work ill buy it ill give you money for the shipping
