WTB: Low mileage engine for my 95 Mark VIII in NYC/LI AREA.

What's up uncle Leo,
Car has been running poorly for a while now.
I had Pete check it out ,and he discovered very low compression on one cyl.
Head gasket is ok.
He thinks its rings and a valve job,but not worth doing just that on a 120,000 plus mile engine that's had 50 or more bottles of nitrous run through it.
Hopefully I can find a decent used motor for it,I am also looking into remanufactured engines too.
I found a couple of remaned so far for around $2600 for long blocks plus shipping ,plus labor to install.
I have to make up my mind what I want to do.
It's wothless to try and sell it as is (UNLESS SOMEONE WHO HAS A SPARE ENGINE WANTS TO MAKE AN OFFER)
I would hate to (nor do I have the time or space) to part it out.
You know the car is solid,straight and I have less then 2000 miles in the heavily modded tranny, tracloc 4:10 rear, custom exsaust and all the bolt-ons (HIDs too) thats why I'm hoping I could find a decent used engine and have pete install it for around $2000 done and start running mid 12's again.
