I personally torqued every bolt and nut in his rear suspension, so yes, I'm confident.

does it ever seem to change direction while braking?? or only acceleration? if not when braking then i wouldnt susspect any brake components.
the front end of these cars is very picky about tire pressure, they need to be exactly the same, i keep mine at 32#s
are the tires balanced properly? any bent rims?
