On Sunday the 15th of May, I went to my first Auto-X event ever. All I can say is it was a blast. There is another one coming up on the 5th of June here that I plan on attending and I can't wait.

The course was ~.8 miles long. The event was held at the MNDOT Testing station in St. Cloud, Minnesota and was put on by the NCCC and Suburban Corvette's. The fastest cars out there were turning 0:57.XX times, these included a Formula Spec V and a Porsche Carrera GT4. My best time of the day was a 1:10.88, which I think is pretty good (I think) considering that first right hand turn you had to come to almost a complete stop (I couldn't go through it at more than 10 MPH). I'd say I did pretty good for my first time out in a 2 ton car. My gears deffinately helped me to get out of the corners. Fastest I got going was 65-70 MPH in the straightaways (which is at the top of 2nd gear in my car).
I'm addicted...hooked...excited.
So, where's the best place to order swaybars from? }(
