Nice car!! I love that red...had a company '97 T-Bird that color. Only prob with it was it seems like every other driver on the road couldn't SEE it. Got hit a number of times!

Um, WOW! Jeremi, did you just get that for yourself? It's beautiful, and #1 is totally cool.

That car looks beautiful!

Number one, it doesn't get any better than that.:)

I'm glad to see that Lincoln chose the Cordovan color for the first one.

Probably would not increase actually value, at least not for a few decades anyways, but it does give the owner a big head I'm sure :).

Beautiful car, my jaw dropped when I saw the 001.

The stickers were placed on random and they do not necessarily correspond to the number that came off the assembly line. One would hope that they did match the first one, not sure if Ford kept the first or last one for their collection, I think they kept two. A long time ago a club member tried to sync the CE numbers to the sequence of the vin numbers and they did not line up.

This car is truely a number one. It was built in early April, unlike the rest of the CEs that were built in June. This car was used in Ford's HQ showroom to display the new center caps designed especially for the CE. Trivial, I know, but it's The CE.

Jeremi...is this car destined for what my 97 LSC was destined for?
How did you come to find #1? Or did it find you?

I always said...if I was to ever buy another Mark VIII, it would be a cordovan CE...and I'd like it to either be the first Cordovan CE...or the last.

so...keep me in mind if this car stays in your life...

My all time favorite Mark VIII, is a Cordovan CE. I've seen just about every other color out there, either in photos, or on the road...I've driven one of every Mark VIII built, from 93's to 96 DA's, to 95 LSC's, to 98 CE's and a 98 SF car...I know what I love...and it's pictured above.
