Warped threads?

Anyone notice warped threads as of late?

By that I mean when clicking on the read new icon, the thread is displayed from the previous page to the last post. The last post is "unreachable"?

Current example (for me) is the engine removal question thread in the drivetrain forum.

Is it just me?

Mike?

Bueller??

Hello???

Bueller here:D

I just tried it, it worked fine for me. I've never tried that read new thing before though. I've been missing a lot.:D

Does it happen on the regular view?

Even if I go direct to the thread and then try to click on page 2 of 2, I am redirected to the first page! Essentially, I cannot get to the last post.

i've seen that.
on one thread for example,
the main page said the last post was by billcu. i clicked on the post. billcu was not the last person to post. the "go to last post" button just gets me the top of the thread, not the last post.

Make another post and then you'll be able to see the next page which contains the post you couldn't get to.

:confused:I didn't actually post but clicked Post Reply and could see the latest post below the editor window.

I don't know what the issue could be.

alright.
as we can see here, DLF was the last person to post in his thread.

now, i open the thread, and as you can see, driller has the last post, DLF's post is no where to be found.

just in case anyone was wondering what was happening.

Wirelessly posted (Droid 2, cldnt afford iPhone : Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.3; en-us; DROIDX Build/4.5.1_57_DX5-35) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

Just to be clear, this is only on the vbulletin? Not the wireless? And tell me what style (I hate that there is more than one) you're using.

Unless I click Post Reply and then I see my post below the editor.

I'm not wireless and I'm using the default skin.

Yes. The wireless seems to work fine. Problems are off wireless and the default skin.

It just happened to me, I couldn't see my last post in that engine removal thread. I use 14 point fixed if that's what you mean.

ok, I clicked on the thread, no problem, I went to forumview and saw that it shows 'sleeper' as the most recent post, then clicked on that little box that amazed Jesse so much, next to his name and it went to last post. I'm assuming these are the issues you mentioned? If so I will look around more. I use 10pt fluid also

eww this style sucks, lol. Anyway, you know that if you post, then go 'back' that you won't see your last post until you refresh, right? but once you post, if you go forward then it should be updated.
