what a difference 2 hours makes. :willy:

Morning started like this  :

Then less then 2 hrs later at 8:20 AM due to the pending winter storm I had to go get milk (for the baby) and bread :willy:

Made it up my hill with RWD Lincoln, 20 deg temp the snow is wicked slippery

Need to put down the MAG so the wife can make it up, used 300 lb this season so far :smash:

Will help with the base packed snow from freezing to the pavement

Put the Lincoln outside so the wife can have the garage for the polar vortex :willy:

Got an over 1" more since the photos and the wind picked up, 18 deg right now, everyone made it home. The ploughs came after my wife came home and my 3 y/o son school bus barely made it up the hill :willy:

just wait until one of the kids brings home a drawing done entirely in black crayon of "Dad's fast car" to put on the fridge...

Brand-spanking new Scion Tc with a touch over 500 miles, two weeks off of the dealer lot. Booked for a weekend long buffing session after revealing these dealer installed swirl marks in the paint!

Got a guy off Craigslist to help me split my wood, we did 2 full cords and i am beat. He had a nice commercial splitter. Home Depot want $99 for 24 hours for a splitter, then you have tax, gas, have to get it and return it, no way i could have got it done in 24 hrs. It would have taken me at least 2 weekends by my self.

This guy was $40/hr no travel or gas charge, i just supply my own labor, he would have got a guy but then charged $50/hr. took 6 hrs, but we dickered around for 40 minutes trying to get the splitter to my wood pile in the snow up my incline in my yard, more like 5 hrs of just splitting. We worked none stop once we started splitting. I request small splits for my wood insert, so that took some time.

quick video, the log lifter is a must have as is the 4 way wedge

:big-grin: Went in to my local dealer for a full synthetic oil change, asked if they could turn on the fog lights for DRL, no charge. :love-it: The dealer where i got it at the tech said he did not know how do do it since i had HID headlights, normally they would use a lower voltage on the head lights.
With a $10 coupon total with tax was $68, not bad for 6qt synthetic oil change from a dealer.

The lights only come on when the car is in gear, so I left it in gear with the e-brake on :eek-large:
