Bogus. Not keeping the tattoo moist with something like Tattoo Goo, or at least A&D ointment, is what will cause scabbing. Never stop using lotion on it, either.

It should not hurt much past the time you finish getting inked...make sure it is not infected, and do not let it dry out! It does look to be very well done, despite the fuzzy picture. I am sure you have a phenomenal artist, but it seems like every other person I have spoken to about ink tells...

A solution that you may not like is saline (salt water) with a liberal amount of salt. That tends to close a wound quite quickly...it just hurts like hell to do it. For the next time you shave your head open. ;)

I was the one that had to lower the flag to half-mast yesterday. Obviously no one noticed, as I was the one to raise it back up this morning. Talk about disappointing.
