Since I am not wanting to throw a bunch of time I don't have right now at sourcing parts right the first time. I am considering the hub swap in the future. I might just keep my stock wheels. 13" cobra brakes would be out of the questions, but I still need new brakes...
Sure as **** even though i couldn't visibly see any deformation, it was the start of the spark plug thread that was the issue. Just glad i didn't ruin anything. Threw me for a loop, because the spark plug i pulled showed thread deformation... anyhow It's fixed now! Thanks for the help Chris.
Thank you chris ! that is the one i am using ... and by using I mean gently letting it thread its way in with success.. but then spark plug wont insert itself... weird and I am about to try a different plug
Just got done replacing the driver side cam/valve cover seals and on the last cylinder while pulling the plug it was ... well bad threads, but very minor. I have a full gear wrench tap and die set... 0 experience using it.... Need to know what tap to use to just clean the threads up...
Thanks man! I never even thought about Facebook being a source for vendors and enthusiasts..... aside from the LOD facebook that I can't access if it still exists.
I just ordered white faced gauges and rear window trim kit! Not going to use discount code just to let you know I appreciate the products you still provide.
I am going not just for look, but for safety. I want to replace them mostly because the crap rotors that are on the mark VIII should be replaced with drilled/slotted of some type to keep them from warping under heavy breaking circumstances (daily driving in the bay area)
If I am going to spend...
Since my tires need to be replaced on the 98 Mark VIII I just purchased and it has the typical front end vibration under braking I am looking for consolidated advice.
I would be looking to Upgrade the front brakes to the 13" rotors ? I Looking for the big brake package as a whole.
I would...
Yes, it's name is Denise after my friends daughter... my last one was Sharlene named after the mother of Denise... I am extremely happy with the buy and having 2 vehicles now to drive one while the other is being repaired will be nice.
Yes its a 98....08/97 build date.
