At least it was parked outside

Recall on the Recall Just read on another site that there is a recall on the recall for the cruise control. Seems the fuse is on the wrong side of the load. I'll try to find the notice later. Bob That will teach me to read ahead. There is another thread already on this. Down a couple of lines.

My First Lincoln! A '97 Mark VIII

Nice looking Mark Tommy; Just being picky, and surprized that no one else mentioned it, but the right rear and left front wheels are backward. They came with uni-directional tires but they were probably changed to something else. Anyway best of luck with the car and your plans for it. PS, I...

    Good news. No not Geico

Here's another Bugatti with the same (close) grill. This one is in the Nethercut Collection in Silmar calif. I'm not sure, but I think this one cost more.:) Also, sorry to say the Lincoln is gone. Been replaced with a 2002 Jaguar S-Type http://www.venturalink.net/~rlking/Bugatti.jpg

A sad day in our house

Really sorry for your loss Leo. Here is something I ran accross the other day that may be of some help. Rainbow Bridge Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are...

    Whats in my windshield???

That device behind the mirror is the compass module. My 95 (don't have the car anymore) had that, so I am suprised that your there is not one on your Dads. Maybe they changed mid-year.

    Serpentine belt change

I had to laugh at the local quick lube place that offered to change mine for "only" $59.95. I had just changed it the week before in about 10 minutes. They had no real excuse when I told them that it was new, and that the belt was less than $20.00 at the parts store.

    Dream on

I stopped by the local Ford Dealer today to see if my new car was in yet. Found it sitting in front of the place with a small crowd around. They tell me this is the most expensive car ever built. They are asking $3,000,000.00 http://www.venturalink.net/~rlking/MB.jpg The sign in the window...

    Yellow dot balancing

I'm not sure this would work, but if you have no yellow stud, have the wheel and tire ballanced and remounted, then mark a the stud that coincides with the valve stem. This then becomes the reference mark for remounting the tires after rotation or removal for some other reason.

Chevrolet looks to boost sales with 10 new or redesigne

RE: Chevrolet looks to boost sales with 10 new or redes Sandy: Just a question, not an argument. How many designers of Japanese cars are American, not Japanese? I would be willing to bet that, since many Japanese cars are designed to be sold primarily in the USA, that they are designed by...

    Condition of your Mark VIII

RE: A few minor blemishes, but STILL better than new. I voted for 'pretty good' because the condition is not 'like new" but is better than pretty good. The only noticable flaw is the seal around the back window. It's not as bad as some I have seen, only about three small wrinkles on each side...
