I have the same problem (Gen2), this is all good information, I will try it. The only thing with mine, is that after it does start it runs real rough for a few minutes and sometimes stalls. Once I get out on the road it's good though. Strange. Brent

Pulsating Brake pedal is definitely the way ABS works. When your wheels lock up, the system quickly engages and disengages the brakes to try to re-gain traction. Brent
