    haha Gotta love craigslist

What use would an autodidact have for college engineering and economics courses or vo-tech courses? Once one took those courses, he would no longer be an autodidact, right? Unless he were also a self-taught ballerina. But at what point does one determine that they have enough knowledge of a...

    Fuse Panel....

If you have an owner's manual, they usually list which fuse protects which circuits. Other than that suggestion, I don't know what to suggest on an '88.

57 belvedere dug up after 50 years of being underground.

Burn it. It's a public health hazard. That flooded vault had to be a toxic stew of mould, mildew and bacteria, just look at the interior.

1963 continental project original 430 (wisconsin)

That's a lot of project you've got right there. You're going to have to find just the right person that's willing to take that on. Ebay might be your best bet.

Addco on a Town Car - Good Idea???

Thanks for the flood of replies. I think I'll check out the pricing and give it a try if it's reasonable. I'm thinking of going with the front and rear, because I can always go back to stock easily if I want. It's not like a mark VIII where you have to separate the engine and drop the cradle...

Addco on a Town Car - Good Idea???

I was just wondering if anybody had used Addco sway bars on their Town Car and what the results were. I know Addco is good quality as I put a set of 1-3/8" on my old Mark VIII and I wouldn't hesitate to use their product again. Addco lists a 1-1/4" front and 1" rear for the Town Car, but I...

    '76 Fender Skirts?

I believe the Town Coupes had the same body through the life of its run. The skirts "should" fit. Not 100% sure as my experience lies more with Mark V's.

    Back after a long absence.

OK, so I registered at Carlisle under LOD affiliation and booked a room Saturday night. I just had an alignment, oil change and AC service on the Town Car. I guess I'm all set. I'll just have to invite myself to the LOD dinner Saturday night.

    Back after a long absence.

Thank you, kind sir. It's good to be back (and driving a Lincoln again). My Townie is no Mark VIII, but it's really hard to find a good VIII nowadays.

    Back after a long absence.

Does LOD have a block of rooms reserved someplace or is it hit and miss for finding a room? Carlisle has been sending me registration forms every year since '01. Sandy already threw this year's away since we didn't expect to be going. I'll figure out how to register.
