    Deleting IMRC's....

Thanks Eli. You answered my question. I take it the car can be tuned to compensate for this then, correct?

    exhaust third cat!

I find it hard to believe you are having these problems in WI. I think you just need to find another shop that will do it. Show them pictures of Dan's exhaust if you have to. BTW, When I had mine done, I originally had a budget of $500....had I not had some parts that my exhaust guy wanted, I...

    Deleting IMRC's....

I already have the higher stall and the gears though...ths time I spend at RPM's where the IMRC's are closed (3250 and lower) is not very long, especially when I'm at the track. I suppose that since I have all these spare parts all I can do is try it and see what happens. Still wondering how...

    gears

Someone else will be able to answer your first question better... The second one, well, all I can tell you is that sometimes i would get both tires spinning as well, but not always. I know that under hard acceleration I would leave a pair of black marks.

    Deleting IMRC's....

Ok, earlier this year Chris Johnson was up here and tuned my car ('98 Mark VIII)for the second time since I've gotten it (added gears and exhaust since last year). Since the tune, I had to get my transmission rebuilt, so I added the higher stall torque converter....which obviously doesn't reach...

Hi Everyone! Just got 1994 Mark VIII

Nice find. One of my friends rescently picked up a '98 LSC in Ivory out that way with only 12k miles on it. I really do like that color.

    u-joint help!!

Quote gas tank has to come down for the driveshaft to come out. even if you take the diff out, the gas tank still has to come down. Not true...I removed and re-installed my driveshaft when I replaced the rear diff. I will agree though that it is easier to drop the gas tank to remove it, as...

Put the O-Stars and RE750's on the Mark!

Looks good, but I think I might like the other wheels more myself?

    Car feel's happy!

Well, the more I drive it, the more I'm noticing differences. Acceleration from a stop dos take a little more throttle, but not a whole lot. As it shifts throguh the gears under light acceleration the RPM's won't hardly vary. It also appears as though my gas mileage may ave increased too...

    sway bars arrived!!

I have poly suspension bushings throughout my truck, nothing you can do about the squeeking unfortunately. Mine are pretty well greased, and I grease them once a season too.

Size of front hub assembly nut?

36mm...and you need a deep well socket to fit it too.

    Car feel's happy!

It's almost no different than stock...I've been without the car so long I ahrdly notice the difference.

    Car feel's happy!

Just got my car back from the transmission shop, and all I can say is WOW! Props to Alan (Dirtyd0g)for getting me the converter so quickly (a day sooner would have been nice, then i would have had the car this weekend, but that was my fault, not his). 3350 stall is NICE! (Alan, if you read...

    k.bell blowzilla

Last I checked (er, e-mailed) they had something in the development stages. This was a while ago when I was thinking about throwing some boost at my car (and I'm starting to think about it here again)....

    Redrilling cobra rotors

Um, you've tried machine shops or just mechanics? I would take it to a machine shop to do that work personally.

    On to the fun stuff...

I will be doing that after I do the first drain/fill. My valvebody has already been recalibrated, so I'm not in a huge hurry to yank it. Transmission is going back into the car today or tomorrow morning anyways, so there isn't enough time to get anything else done.

    k.bell blowzilla

Well, they've been able to squeeze a little bit more power out of them. One of them cracked off a couple of 10 second times at the track last weekend with STOCK (except for the front diff mounts and cover brace) rear suspension.

If it fits a 2nd gen, it should bolt to a 1st gen as well. The only thing you might have problems with that I don't think the 2nd gen's have to worry about is hood clearance. Just an FYI though....the local guys have been having better luck with the Whipple's over the KB's on their 03/04 Cobra's.
