well, it went for less than I wanted for it, but I didn't have much choice as the closing on the house I am buying is coming up quick. I got $16,500 for it, but I think it went to a good home anyway.

Not really....bench seats and column shifters were standard. Whoever ordered it just ordered a base model with the top of the line engine. Back in the day I had a 69 with a 383 and buckets, and had 2 friends with 440s and both of them had bench seats. Hell, in 70 there were only 1,920...

Its the hemi that makes it 1 of 16..not the bench seat. Alot of them did, although probably more common with a 383.

well, on my '95 I put a Meizure e-water pump on at about 80,000 miles and its at 210,000 now...does that count as "holding up"?

Underdrive pullies, and electric water pump and a chip did wonders for mine but changing your rear end is the cheapest way to get some more ooomph.
