Im working on my wife's Navigator and i came to the conclusion that the Cluster is bad. I found one at a local junk yard.
My question is, Will I have to reprogram the key after a new cluster is installed?
or will the truck start just fine?

Yeah I've uncounted this problem before on older style ford trucks, I also know how to fix the 03-06 chevy clusters. But on this cluster it's different then those older style clusters. But this gage it's not responding and wen i check it with the scanner the rpms do work and you are getting signal going into the cluster. The cluster itself just isn't showing the rpms. The niddle just dosent move.

They told me on the Nav site that you just install it a run with it.... but to also take a look at that link I gave you.... lots of info there on that link. Lots of pages.
