Hello To Everyone.
I searched for a reference to this car with no results. It just crossed the block this weekend. Did anyone here score this red and black jewel?

Lot #314 - This Mark III began as a coupe and is one of 23 converted to a power convertible top by Coach Builders. It is documented to have been owned by rock-and-roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis. It's equipped with a 4.6-liter V8 and automatic transmission. It also has power windows and power seats. The black leather interior shows wear and tear but is in good condition. The original phone is mounted in the console. A Jimmy Swaggart bible is included in the sale (he is Jerry Lee Lewis' cousin). Also included are a CD, Mississippi license plate, papers showing Jerry Lee Lewis as the principle driver and the DeSoto police department stickers on the windshield. 12,400 actual miles.

Seems like a pretty good price for a very unique car. With a provenance, no less.

Nobody here has announced it, so far as I can tell. Hopefully it turns up here sooner or later. If nothing else, you've at least documented the sale here in these pages, which is likely a good thing.

Thanks!

I wonder why it doesn't have the top boot on in the photos?
Some convertible owners are lazy.:)

To me, what's worse, is people with their tops down and the rear windows up.:D

I wanted that car, but I didn't want the price associated with the previous owner.:)
