has 200K on it. Needs little cosmetic things I don't have the time for anymore then paintjob. Interior is fair condition, I have all the extra parts to go along with it to fix the gremlins. Just had transmission pan dropped and fluid and filter changed at FORD dealership and also the Brakes ABS brake fluid flushed with new and bled by them.

I originally bought it for a parts car for mine, but I don't want to store it in barn to take up space now. It's currently on the road now and I drive it to work with the great gas milage they get. My truck only gets 14MPG. The AC is nice and cold as well, fresh recharge. Holds steady 60 degrees on a 94 degree Florida day. Needs a right rear chrome pinwheel rim, and miscellenaous interior parts need replacing or repaint to be nice on interior again. Needs passenger side window regulator motor serviced, (have one that comes with car from other parts car). Don't have time to mess with it anymore. Nice 96 LSC black on black with moon roof for cheap. Ill be putting it up on the auction site soon. Whats it worth with high milage? Heres some pics.

Its pretty clean as far as no rust. Ill post underneath pics tomorrow ill crawl under there and take some pics tomorrow. I didn't touch this one up any. Its just how I got it. Was gonna keep it for parts for mine, but now selling it as running driving on the road car.
Just put a new battery in it. 100.00 and idler tensioner, 47.00 and idler pulley 15.00 on engine block on it and recharged the air conditioning. 47.00
Has high milage and some road vibrations, but I suspect its the tires. Don't want to put any more money into it. Needs dash gauges bezel insert repainted ect. Its got some kind of sticky surface crap all over it. Feels like hairspray. Id take that off and strip it, then spray it nice and flat black. Im not messing with it anymore and am selling it like it is. Has a dent under right side taillight from someone backing into something looks like and passenger side window don't roll down. Have spare window regulater and motor from other car that goes with it and some other things you pick from my parts connex box. Selling everything in there ive stashed over the years. Everything goes cept the 1st gen parts. Got parts in there from 2 2nd gen cars parted up including rolling chassis and front clip to fix it if anyone wants to go that route. Im not messing with them anymore. Ac works fine, the cruise control actually works fine, the OD button on shifter works, lights up green on display and drops into third ect. Has airbag warning light on and also the message center cluster doesn't light up. Havent taken it apart to mess with that yet, but I do have a spare for it that will go with the car. I don't have time for this one anymore, too many other things going on ect.
I drive this one back and forth to work down to the base 27 miles each way. So its a running car, but needs paintjob and cosmetics to really cherry it up. Its a real 96 black on black LSC with moonroof. Needs a good home, and out of my driveway, its dripping little drips of oil on my concrete from all that crap on the underside of it. Don't know if its still leaking, but its filthy underneath. Its not currently burning oil, so maybe from past leak??? Who knows. Needs a pressure washer bath under it. haha. 2013-08-11_14-31-10_486.jpg

Ohh, seats both work fine too, and it needs a chrome spare on right rear tire. Currently has a continental??? rim on it. It looks like one of those old town car rims with no hubcap. Has a vibration at 70MPH but that's as fast as I wanted to push this one. She needs some fixing first, then it can be run hard like a true mark. lol.

96 BOB's are coming out of the wood work now. I bought one last week, there's another on Ebay right now and this one.
I bought one for the interior, gonna swap them around then drive it for a while. I got some octistars (thanks Dan) on the way and will likely drive the car for a while. But can't wait for MYHYDE to have the black interior.

Here's some shots of it underneath. it lists for 3500.00 poor condition high milage to high 5700.00 excellent condition low mileage for blue book. I'll be priced in under 3K. Really the only rust on it is the dual exhaust itself. All the rest underneath and under doors is mud from that muddy road. 96 Lincoln Mark 8 LSC 002.jpg96 Lincoln Mark 8 LSC 003.jpg96 Lincoln Mark 8 LSC 005.jpg96 Lincoln Mark 8 LSC 006.jpg

Ohh yeah, the message center cluster lights up now and radio works now. It was a blown fuse in drivers door panel I never checked.

Car didn't sell. Ahh well. Lowered the reserve and buy it now price and relisted it. Only set it for 5 days now. Not going to relist it again. That auction site is too expensive for what you get. I just use them for the massive multistate exposure.

Unfortunately it doesn’t take much to convince me to buy a mark, but it does take allot to convince my boss. Believe me, I've tried!

Good luck with the sale, hopefully she finds a good home.

haha I hear ya. Somone come get this one. haha I have to keep moving it when I mow the grass. Wish my driveway was four feet wider. They should have extended it to the edge of the house, not just the width of the garage door.

BTW Im selling my 04 Tahoe too for 14K if anyone is in the Market for one of those. Just put new 4X4 transmission actuator motor, push button dash switch, and front hub bearings on her. Works great. Black with tan leather fully loaded Z-71. 2004. $14K.

96 black LSC is SOLD. Can remove thread if want to.

96 Lincoln Mark VIII is SOLD. We can remove this thread if you want to to save space. Buyer didn't want anything else but the car, so all the other parts are still available and a roller 98 black LSC no motor or trans (has FL title).
