I am the original owner of this car, non-smoker. It has been very well maintained. Mobil 1 oil changes, trans fluid changes, etc. In the past year it has had over $3000 in maintenance. The down side is the clear coat has been coming off in spots. I am selling it because I have two young kids in car seats and having 2 doors are just not practical anymore for a family.

4.6L 32 Valve InTech V8, 290 HP, 3.27 Ratio rear end, 4 speed Auto, RWD
Color Black on Black, monochromatic LSC trim. 10 spoke chrome directional wheels.

Air suspension censored lowered
Custom exhaust with double X pipe and Powertone SS X chamber mufflers
Dealer installed auxiliary transmission cooler
Transmission shift kit
Rear seat car seat tether anchors

Known issues:

The cup holder is broken
The rear neon tail applique works intermittently
Clear coat has come off in some spots
The power tilt and telescoping steering wheel mechanism needs some manual help at times

Steve is a beautiful car and I know you have maintained it well and it's a very clean car. I would love to have it but I just bought the MKZ and I can't afford another car payment. Good luck my friend!

Yea, 2 hrs after I put it in CL a guy said he wanted to come look at it and now it is gone.

Oh wow! Congrats. Sorry clear coat went like that, otherwise it's in better shape than mine is right now. And aren't the floor mats worth like $1K anyway?

I have a set of new front and back factory black LSC floor mats, now i will sell them, have NIB HID bulb as well that will go up for sale and a few other things.

After the guy who bought it drove me back home my wife Aimee had my 4 y/o son Ariston give me a big hug. :) I was more upset when my Corvette went memorial day weekend 3 years ago. :( I wish I had had the means to keep my 87 Buick Turbo T (sold it to by my Mark) and my Mark as I know they are milestone cars. Aimee had been using the Mark for work, the people there were shocked to learn it was an 18 year old car.

We picked up the Escape last night, she is very happy with it and the newer technology and safety features. Ariston approves as well. Will be much easier getting the kids in back in their car seats now.
