This is the question I ask myself daily I'm looking to start a motor swap into my lse in the next Idk 6-12 months if everything goes my way. Ive found a rearended donor for each swap. That is how I want to do it not buying motor tranny pullouts whole cars. So which do you guys think will be 1. Easiest 2. Least costly 3. Most labor intensive (I can't afford shop rates) 4.most potential. Thanks in advance to all that post with ideas and answers. Also general hp goals will be mid to low 600's at the wheels.

Ok I'll bite... I would think the terminator would be an easier swap because 1 it's still a 4V and 2 600hp is pretty common for terminators

the room is there for a 4 valve 4.6. however, the 5.0 will be easier/cheaper to retrofit.

the one lap of america car sponsored by ford was a supercharged 4.6 LS, a 2 valve though.

600+ hp at the wheels will be about 800+ at the flywheel, unless you are going solid axle. Tranny, j-modded, only good for 600+; you will need a beefier tranny. Also beefier axles in the irs if you keep it.

So how is this swap coming along??? Pics?

I can't see how there would be any difference, fitment wise, between the two. Are the Coyote heads any bigger/wider than any other 4v head? The motor mount bolt pattern on the block side are the same for the modular engine from the '91 LTC all the way up through so it really comes down to implementing cam timing or not.

Does anyone have any info on variations of the motor mount bolt pattern for modulars excluding continentals?
