will my passenger side is leaking exhaust and needs to be replaced. i stopped at a exhaust shop and he pointed it out and found the leak, oh well it happens. iasked about replacing the drivers side cat as well whci is part of the manilfold and he said no problem. so iam thinking of doing two cats from magnaflow cats and two flowmasters or magnaflow mufflers out back. the exhaust is the easy part.:);):)

besides kook's, any other headers out there??

If you're doing the full exhaust then yes. I did a write up on the swap if you're gonna do it.

thanks for heads up everyone. i am going to leave the stock manifolds on the car and do something from there.

i would to do headers, maybe another time. going with the stock manifolds and going to see of the exhaust shop can replace the cat on the drivers side first.

Unfortionally you CAN'T. They won't be able to weld on the stock manifold. Just have them "punch out" the cat, removing the inside substrate.

finally threw in the towel and said Do It... i needed to get the right side cat replaced since it's leaking and all i did was read all the threads on what to do and not what to do. i did not want loud and headers are too much money. so i had a magnaflow cat installed on the right side ( left side had to left stock for now ) and had the exhaust shop do a real nice y-pipe to get rid on the 3rd cat and resontor/muffler. he ran a larger pipe to rear Y and i kept the stock mufflers. looks really nice under the car. car sounds a little louder which makes me happy and it did help with perf, the car feels lighter. mid range and up it feels like a happier Mark VIII... so iam goping to slowly hunt down and left side manifold and have it cut and welded so i can replace that cat as well.

Sweet! I give up the hunt in that manifold, like I said they are pot metal (or similar) and would need to be braised. Find some Mach 1 manifolds. They're cheap.
