AC compressor brand?

Ready to shop for ac compressor since it making loud noise when clutch is engaging.

Hey, Gary.

Before you get too into things, I'd just take a glance under the hood. "loud when engaging" may just be that you have lost the rubber "isolators" in the clutch assembly. There are three of them, and they'll be visible. When these are missing, you'll have a metal-on-metal "click" as the thing engages.

replacing them with hot glue doesn't work.. I know that..

But you might just need a new clutch assembly, which could save you the trouble if the discharge-recharge process.

There is also a clutch adjustment you can do...necessary because of normal wear.
