I did the deed. I just pulled the trigger on a built bottom end teksid out of Mississippi. Eagle H-beams and Manley flattops. So time to flog this one into submission. I'm putting it on 12psi soon and will probably feed it 21°. Don't really care now...but honestly never did.

Im gonna have my tuner set me up with a safe tune for the street in an attempt to not blow it up before track day.

Yeah. I'm crazy.

What are your plans for the top end (heads/cams/intake)? :love-it:
I have zero clue there yet. I have A LOT to think about. All I know is I want to feed it 20psi and join the single digit gang. I may send in the blower for an sci upgrade which should make it good for north of 700whp on corn. Compression ratio as it sits now with my top end on it would be about 10.6:1

You think at 20 psi it makes a difference?
Maybe not. And come to think of it I think I am going to be hard-pressed to see 700hp on the current blower. I do know that 2 turbos would fit perfectly where the factory gas tank used to be. I'm a bit scatter-brained at the moment on what my next move will be on a built lower end. Lol. There is a lot of directions I could go.

Hilarious. LOL. I think your grin scared him off.

Can I send you a door panel (or duct tape) so you don't have to look for that window switch ?

yep.
especially with a centri.
no boost at launch, where c heads make more torque.
if he doesn't spin much past 7, he'll likely see more area under the torque curve.
A can of worms opened, c would be my choice from a pure et stand point from what you pointed out more lower end torque makes lower sixtys which turn into lower ets, which also snaps axles ....its get worse from there as ets drop mph gets higher the rules get stiffer. at some point the car needs a nine inch and a cage, speed costs money in more than one way.

Well guys, I got the meat and potatoes. .20 over teksid, manley flattops and eagle h-beam rods. The block will need to be disassembled to do some tweaks for my power goals. Points of interest are the oil pump, wristpins, timing dowel pins, and checking the ring gap for big boost. The cast crank will also need to go and then it will need a re-balance. My end goal is 800-900whp and deep 9s. I am currently in the "discussion" stage for a new power adder and it will very likely be a large single front mount turbo setup. Stay tuned....
