Thanks Steve ! This very car has lived on (after getting parted out) in many other mark viiis, including my old 1st gen 95, and Dave's 97LSC. Definitely brings back a lot of memories

I do remember him well and had a couple PM's with him when he put the 4:11's in it. He had it done at a shop (Worldwide Transmission) where my brother in law worked many years ago, and I was interested in doing the same and wanted to know if the original owner still was alive and working there. I thought Steve's Mark was real sharp.

I used to drive down Irving Park road going to visit my mother and used to see his car parked in a parking lot around 800 west.

Wonder if he still has the GTO?

That car was gorgeous, but slower than it ever should have been. I felt so bad for Steve. Yeah, Mike must've blocked out that night at my house... duh...
