I read this, and then think about my luck.
I was driving the SS on I-5 last year at 75 mph...speed limit is 70, and I was behind a line of semi-trucks in the slow lane waiting for my exit...so it's not like "I" was the only one.
I exit on a farm road, turn left and head east...on the overpass I see a CHP exiting from the northbound direction (opposite from the direction I was going on I-5)
I go about 1 mile and look in my mirror and here he comes. I am the ONLY car on this road...speed limit 55.
He lights me up and says he had me at 74 mph.
It was literally IMPOSSIBLE for me to be going 74 mph where he supposedly saw me.
he takes my license to his car and comes back with a ticket for 64 in a 55...says he was doing me a favor. he circled the number 74 in the top right corner, probably for him to remember what he had me at.
My thought is that since I was 200 miles from home, no tickets or accidents on my record, he most likely felt I wouldn't make the trip to fresno Co. court to fight it, and I'd settle for traffic school.
He was right.
$520 later my record was wiped clean.
Brenda wants to borrow her sister's Hell cat for our next trip.
136 mph?
Not a problem in that car. Especially with the RED KEY FOB!!!
would I try it?
Not on a public road way!!!
