Crooked air shock

I took out a pair of air shocks I had stored. Held air and in nice condition, when I wrapped them up. One still looks great, and one is all crooked. I aired it up a few times until I could see the stainless strip that holds the bag on. Does'nt leak, but it's all crooked. Anybody have the fix, if there is one?Air shock bent.jpgAia shock bent -2.jpg

There is a joint near the top of the shock portion of the air strut. It looks like it just got cocked during storage.
I cut a rattling Arnott strut open once and that joint had lots of play in it.
When installed the top will be held perpendicular to the forked end and should work fine.
If you have concerns you could send them to me :)

I know about the Arnott rattle. These were both in great shape when I stored them, wrapped in plastic with just a little air to keep their shape. Stored on a flat surface. Your saying if I install them they should be OK. I want to use them, they have only 44K miles on them, and no rust, from a FL car. I thank you for the info.

the strut is easily disassembled if you wantto inspect it. just remove that top nut with an impact wrench. The gently tap the cap off.
