Exhaust tips?

So I recently had my 2 mufflers taken off, so I have a Magnaflow x-pipe in the middle and straight pipes. Sounds great now but Im not too thrilled with the dual tips I picked. Wondering what tips look really good for a 97, they currently are 2.5 or 2.75 dual chrome but don't have enough width when looking from behind. Would add a picture but my IPad hates me, any pics or links to some that for sure look good on these is appreciated.

Yeah that's more what I'm looking for, I like the quad look but mine are just too small. I need a thicker outer lip that you can see from behind.

My opinion, the stock tips look the best on a gen 2. I had the muffler shop modify the stock tips to fit my custom exhaust.

I agree 100% Mike. No other tip seems to flow with the bumper cover anywhere near as nice as the stockers.

I have to agree as well, the exhaust was originally put on my gen 1. When I got the 97 I swapped exhaust over and the shop seemed to have lost or misplaced my old exhaust, including tips. At the time I didnt mind too much but now I want the stock tips back.

Check ebay, or the parts sellers on the Mark VIII forums. Should not be that hard to find someone selling just the tips.

I agree with Mike. I'm going to be putting the 97 LSC tips on my new exhaust when i get her back from the paint guy. Fills up the hole nicely and looks sleeper stock.
