BOB, 1st make sure you have a place to stay. My wife and I were 1st timers last year, and the best thing was meeting all the GREAT LOD members. Every morning you drive to the fairgrounds, get your car set up, hang out with the members, and check out all the cars. Check out the car coral, and all the vendors. Friday a lot of members go to a local place for dinner, and LOD has a dinner party on SAT. This show is HUGE. They rent electric scooters for $85 a day to get around, if your old like me. The best car show I've ever been to. I've been looking forward to it since last year, only a few more months.
Like cake tossing off the parking deck. Although that seems to have run it's course.

It's a good show, and a great gathering of friends from this forum.
We always have a large tent for the club to hang out under when we aren't touring the grounds, and a few members tend to bring along refreshments of all kinds for general consumption.
Although many of us have now met in person quite often in the past, there's a first time for everyone. You are indeed welcome. Pull up a chair, and make yourself at home.
