Frozen Ivory '97 Base Mark VIII

It happened here for the first time in over 50 years. It was about 20-30F night/day and raining all the time. My Mark VIII is covered with over quarter inch of ice! I stared it up and tried to unfreeze it, that's why there isn't too much ice on the hood.

Ivory Mark VIII stays outside because I wanted to store "new" LSC at home so I don't have other place to park it.

I just heard in the news that some people have over an inch of ice on their cars.

I love ice photos!

I've got some of my old red 94 covered in ice. We usually get one of those freezing rain days per year.

I had to use a hair dryer a couple times to melt the gap between the roof and door header, to get the door open.

It was solid, and it wouldn't chip away with a plastic scraper.

I wonder what the additional weight of an inch of ice would be...

Anyway, don't pull the door handle too hard

How did you get the door open? I had to use a pry bar back a few years ago on my DD when a car wash did me in.
