I've been sitting on this Crystal View Kit from Wally World for awhile now. I have used it before with phenomenal results. So, this afternoon, I decided to recondition and seal the passenger side headlight.

After:

If any of you guys haven't had the opportunity to try this product, I urge you to. You will be amazed and it is not a high-maintenance polishing method. Recondition, seal, ding fries are done.

Great improvment ! How much time was involved ?

Lead Foot
About ten minutes. I then went inside and made this thread while the first coat of sealer was setting up. I came back out and applied the second coat of sealer and called it a day.

Looking good Kirk

I've tried both and still prefer the 3M kit you use with the drill. It's under $19 at Wally World.

I actually use a metal polish, it makes it clear very easily, but doesn't last very long ( I do a ton of interstate driving), I suppose that is what the sealant is for.

Joe B uses a metal polish too. There are quite a few headlight sealers coming on the market these days. I just bought a Meguiars one from Wally World but haven't tried it yet.

Looks good - something about clearing up the headlights on a Mark VIII just makes the car look new again! (something being the fact that the headlights on these cars are friggin massive, maybe. :D)
