What is the "go to" hotel after the Comfort is full?

Just start searching for one that is close and is clean with good reviews, you will find they all fill up fast. So you may have to stay 20 to 30 mins away.

It wasn't "easy", JP..... might just come up for Saturday since I already have the pass (ordered). Ummmm. Let me check to see if there is a Saturday night available.

So how many places have you checked?

People will cancel when it gets close to the date, some places will have wait list.

Bring your trailer, get someone to drive your Lincoln.

Try choicehotels.com or Trivago or one of the other search engines. They will show you what's available and how far it is from town

Check with the mustang clubs and avoid those hotels

I did check with them Leo.... thanks. So far looking like a one day trip for me. If I can get someone that would like to go with us, the RV suggestion is the best bet. Have even tried to check with Rene'....but can't seem to get an answer from her.

Presumably you asked the hotel if they have any availability in the "Lincolns of Distinction" block? I know in years past, they've set a few rooms aside for us. No idea if that's automatic though

With the change in management a couple years ago, they no longer do that.

I found a room at the RED ROOF INN. Farther away than I wanted but it has a cancel policy that suits me and it ain't THAT far out of town. Kinda used to that. It's also closer than the campground.

I also have my name on cancellation list at Comfort. 8 ahead of me. So if they DO call with a room, I can still get refund from RRI.
