Cleaned up the cradle today it looks great for a 20 year old part the bushings are still supple which is a plus . My next step will be welding up the gaps and reinforcing it.

The fellow I bought it from had it sitting in a shed in Louisiana for the last 10 years he was going to use it for a Cobra kit car but fortunately for me he went in a different direction.

Anyone have a lead on subframe bushings that are not alloy after a closer look the bushings are starting to degrade .

I got a nice set from Carlos, they're obviously used but still in great shape and even threw some bolts in too.

According to Jeremi they will pop out by lubing and wacking them with a sledge hammer. One sharp smack. I could not trust my self and made an extraction tool with PVC pipe and threaded rod. I have a thread on here with pictures. I will look for it.

I think so. It was a while ago. I may have just Lubbed them up and popped them in with a hammer. They go in pretty easy. But yes, the tool can be used to install. Just like many professional bushing removal tools.
