kooks air tube plugs?

originally was gonna put the air tubes back on but i discovered they dont test in my area so now i need to plug the air and egr...........anything i can buy locally or do i need to go to kooks............

Good luck! Kooks doesn't sell caps, I've tried.

The EGR is bung M27-2.0, and I believe that the two AIR bungs are M20-1.5, but I'm not certain about that.

Do you still have the air tubes? If so, you could do what I did until you decide to go another route. I had the pipes cut back and pinched and tack welded shut and kept them hooked into the headers when I removed the unit in front of the crank pulley. The only other option is to find the appropriate sized bolts to screw into the bungs and throw a tack weld around the perimeter. But, once the headers are in I think getting a welder into that tight space is nearly impossible. I wish I had thought about this before my headers were installed, but I never thought I would be deleting the air sytem. :rolleyes:

the IR TUBES Are long gone but im about to pull anpther 97 apart for a guy that wants the engine and front struts, i get to keep the remains. spose i can just have those tiged shut once i get around to the project.. actuially i might still have the tubes i just cant remember. im gonna convert this parts car to coil and put a 351w and a 5 speed in it for the chicago lemons race if i ever find the time.
