Yes the EGR is capped off and turned off in the tune. Combustion chambers will actually stay cleaner without the EGR valve since exhaust gasses are not being recirculated through the system.

Went ahead and got Kooks with the coating.They do look good...so...wish me luck.I will post the results when i get all this installed and dynoed.Hope they don't flake or have the rust spotting i seen before.

I just got my engine installed with the Kooks and had a bad exhaust leak.Traced it to the drivers header.Kooks left a 3/16'' long UNWELDED area where the primary tube mates up to the collector.I welded it and it is still leaking,so I am going inside the collector this weekend.I have a set on my GT500 and they are awesome.No problems.

I hope you welded some v-bands in place of those 3 bolt flanges. Just another leak prone area.

They are sealed up for now.If they leak,i'm going with a ball flange.
