That is your User Rank assigned by the forum software...

User ranks are images that appear beneath your user's names on their posts. Ranks assigned to All Usergroups appear for everyone.

They basically are relative indicators to your number of posts... 1 for 25 posts, 2 for 100 posts, 3 for 500 posts, 4 for 1000 posts and 5 for 2000 posts.

Thanks for the info. For years I wondered what the red emblems, but never asked.

They represent how many Lincoln's you've killed, like on the old bombers.
