Howdy All,

Came across this forum; and I think its a great community. I Own a gray 97 Lincoln Continental. I must say that I am in love with Lincoln cars. Could some one post a fuse diagram for me (97 Lincoln Continental? I blew my Cigar lighter and i'm trying to find the fuse for it. I replaced #14 (15amp) but that didn't do it:x Actually I don't know what it controls :x I just noticed it was blown.

Thanks

Ok I found the fuse in diagram 2 however I have already change fuse 14 (yes it was blown) I replaced it with one of those "Glow When Blow" fuses. But Still no dice yet :X Could there be something deeper?

Or a burned wire...check voltage at the fuse...if it's there, check for voltage at the lighter. If no voltage at the fuse, it's prob a fuse or relay under the hood.

Strange takes me right to it. Must be that I already loged in. Good to know.

Here's the fuse box diags. Check Fuse #1 as well, it controls a bunch of stuff, but the Cigar Lighter is one of them.

If the lighter still doesn't work, you need to pop the panel out and make sure it didn't just come unpluged, thats more likely than a broken wire to it.

REMOVAL

Remove console top panel.
Remove the cigar lighter socket and retainer.

...or maybe just the element burned out! Happens a lot when ashes stick to it and it's popped back in.....

Ya, +1 for Bud, expecially CIGAR ashes, haha.

OR, you could have a penny lodged into the hole, haha.
