Greetings all! I'm Brian from Mount Vernon, WA. I just traded my very clean, 135,5XX mile '96 Ivory Pearl Base Mark XIII for a '98 Ivory Pearl Base Mark XIII with 47,8XX miles. One owner, a 92 year old Thunderbird collector, who traded it for an '05 Thunderbird. This Mark XIII has been garaged it's whole life! I feel very fortunate to have such a fine example of these great cars. I was able to find this car because I get Craigslist notifications whenever a Mark VIII is listed. I bought it immediately, sight unseen, and drove 2 hours / 100 miles to get it. I couldn't be happier. Let the mods begin!

Welcome! Sounds like a great find. It takes confidence to buy one of these sight unseen. It sounds like you know your stuff. :)

These cars have a way of pulling at your heart strings. I purchased my 97 LSC in 2012 and drove 400 miles to get it.

Congrats on the purchase! Mods sound like fun.

Brian, congrats on a beautiful sounding Mark. I recently bought my first (black) but it's only a VIII. Will be on the look out for the (new & improved) XIII. Just kidding-sounds like a great deal on one of my favorite color combos.
