New to the Mark VIII

Hello my name is Alan but everyone can call me Fluffy. I live in north texas. I recently bought a 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII about a week ago and im already getting that itch to make it mine. First things first i have a few things that i need to get fixed on it. IDk what else to put here but any questiond hit me up.

Welcome Fluffy! So, what are the problems you are having?

my headlights suck, i am not getting any sound from the radio and im having some shfting issues with the transmission. the trans is a simple fix. but the radio im not having much luck at. ive chased all my wires double checked everything to make sure it was wired right and still nothing.

lol and i found out today that when i turn my left blinker on my wipers do not work.

I know that the radio on most Marks had an external amplifier that lived underneath the rear window package tray. I say "most" because I do have a fuzzy memory that the JBL system was an "option" in the early days. If you've got that amp, it is very possible it's failed.

Also, depending upon the life that car lived, if a previous owner installed an aftermarket stereo, who knows what could have been done to it.
