About a month after buying it, I cut the springs, removed the resonator/muffs, and punched out the 3rd cat.

Thanks! I'm basically smog legal, I will pass emissions with the front 2 cats, I will pass the visual with all 3 cats appearing to be there, and its not smog illegal to take off the mufflers, only against the California vehicle codes, sooo........with that being said, its semi-thick ice, but its still ice. I wanted to stick with the air but it was already converted when I bought it so I lowered it for the time being, I just picked up some rear bags/sensors of eBay for 26 bucks!! so once I get the fronts we'll see about going back. Thanks for the compliments!

Here is a pic with the front brake swap done, more pics next week, I took this one with my phone :(

Hey guys,

Finally updated my CarDomain site, check it out!!

Just finished installing my passenger side pillar guages, and had the windows tinted. Also bought some of those wind deflectors that Craig has, thanks for the link pal!!

**

Hey guys,

Sorry, I've been real busy with the CHP thing.

I kinda was experimenting with the pass. side pods, its a Vacuum Guage and an Air/Fuel mixture gauge that has 11 LEDs that alternates with the rich/lean signal of the O2 Sensors. In the drivers seat you can see the pass. pod perfectly clear, and I figured, if the cars smells like its running rich or lean, all I have to do is look over, and then I can also see if I have a major vacuum leak causing the problems. To some of you this may be overkill, but if you'd see it in person, its not bad at all. Just think, most of you drive around assuming you have oil pressure, and your transmission is running nice and cool, but whos to say that you're oil pressure warning light is burnt out, or your in-radiator trans cooler is restricting flow and your trans is a bit on the hot side. Its a little piece of mind, plus when a little civic or even a camaro pulls next to me and sees the guages, then laughs, I'll smoke his a** and who's laughing now.

I finally installed the new diff on Wednesday......MAN what a difference!!!! Finally no more peg legn it! I ended up needing a new carrier because the one out of the 99 Cobra had a spun carrier bearing and wasn't re-usable. With a brand new trac-loc and 4:11's this thing is sweet!!! I can even get sideways turning right, which I couldn't do in the mustang. 75MPH at 2,500 RPMs in overdrive, not bad! I thought it would be worse. Anyways, can't wait for another event down there!

Ok, just got my new hood scoops in for my Mark. Tell me what you guys think! Ofcourse these will have to be "glassed" in and modified to fit but the price for both was WELL worth the work. Better than paying $800 for a basic Cobra R hood. I bought a spare hood and trunk a while ago planning ahead for this project so I will be installing 1 scoop on each hood.

One hood scoop is the "extractor" or "invader" style, like the new Cobras have.

The next is a 5" Cowl scoop made popular on the Fox Body stangs, I had one on my stang except it was the "extended" version that went all the way to the windshield.

**

"Jesse...I dont think the "Invader/Extractor" hood scoop will
provide you with enough clearance for your up-coming
intentions."

Yep, going with the 5 incher I liked the Extractor though, plus that is the style of hood the 03 Cobras have....wierd coincedence haha.

"5" cowl will have to be my choice based on "what lies
beneath"...if you know what I mean "

Shhhhh.....don't tell anyone haha!
**

Got a sweet deal on this.....and I had everything in the works for the complete swap...but opted to make a HUGE profit and pay off bills. I "eBay'd it". Man, that would have been a sweet swap and super fun!

Hey guys,

While on lunch the other day I decided to install a 03 Cobra steering wheel and airbag. I was just going to do the airbag, but it looked funky with a charcoal bag and a light gray wheel. I had to use my cruise control switches and re-pin the airbag connector, but other than that it was a piece of cake. The Cobra column cover even fit, except I have a hole where the little "push" tab is to remove the key on the Cobra was.

Tell me what you think.

"like the "bag of skittles" upgrade. Makes the whole interior of the car. Is it the functional "bag" or is it just for looks. I hear they can really make a car fast." Lol! I'll miss those guys.
**

Got my 5" Cowl Scoop installed this weekend and picked the hood up on Monday I'm waiting for paint until I can have the entire thing painted and possibly add blue ghost flames or something.

Functional :)

**

Max....THANKS dude. Yeah, those camera phone pictures just don't cut it. Glad someone likes it besides me Everyone says its "huge" and "monsterous" but no "bad arses" or "just plain SICK" haha.

Cecil....I can't get away from big hoods, my Stang had a 5.5" extended cowl that went to the windshield.....SICK! LOL

More pics.....

My buddy, friend, son, brother, and a lot of the time, my shoulder to cry on when I've been drinking.

"Duke....whats that?" Hehe...thats how I get good pics of him :)

Have to find room to spotlight a great friends car, soon to be someone elses, but it'll be remembered. Too bad I don't have before pics...it had O stars on it :)

A while back Max came up to "Dr.J's" shop and got a TON of work done. No before pics, but here are bunch of pics of our cars together.

Well, its been awhile since I've shown off my ride, 1)due to the fact that I wanted to surprise a few people that went to the FFS show here in Cali, and 2) because I'm extremely lazy, weight 800 pounds and can't get out of bed sometimes. lmao

Tell me what you guys think of the new look!

Oh yeah....I want to apologize ahead of time for all the "code"....the forums don't seem to like when I post just the url for the videos, it keeps linking to whichever video I upload last.

Well, the time has come that I've had to get a nose job. Since I'm persuing the career in law enforcement, I guess its time to start becoming serious about making my car legal. Not that its illegal the way I'm driving it right now, but given the right opportunity, any cop can have his own opinion of my car being too loud, or too low, or too heavy up front. So....my car now looks very sad, and I miss the attention it used to get when I'd drive around..... Oh...and I added 2 magnaflow straight through muffs, one where the resonator used to be, and another right under the gas tank, it actually sounds really good with no drone, and hardly any in cabin nose, but it still sounds healthy. Not loud enough for me though

Before.........

After..........

On the lighter side...I got new tires for the rear :)

Max says, "No, no, no!! What are you doing? Where are the "upgraded" lights? How is the "hood" illegal?

You used to be cool man."

"ok...where's Jesse...and what did you do to him, whoever YOU are."

Lol.

Than ofcourse you have my recent exhaust work........

Wow, that's a lot of work! It's really great that you have a good record, photos and all, of your changes. And I do like the steering wheel, although yeah, it's a little funky with the light colored thingies on the side, but still looks good.

Thanks for the comments everyone :) I started this thread at 1:02 am, and went to bed at 4:30am, lol! I was seriously falling asleep at the end so it got kinda rushed. AND I reached the 13,000 character limit 3 times while trying to post it, hehe. Sorry for the dial-up'rs and the low memory errors, lol. :(

Haha....it actually doesn't look bad when you can view the entire dash. The top portion of the dash is almost as dark as the steering wheel and the lower portion is light gray like the switches. :)

I'm thinking about installing some LED lights inside the CC switches to light them up more, so at that time I may paint them charcoal too.

I have/had an entire post on my 03 Cobra engine install that I was going to fit into this thread, but with so much info, I'm just going to start another.
