Shipping wheels

I sold the 20 spokes, and had to ship them. At Home Depot they sell boxes. A 18" X 18" X16" sells for $2. It holds (2) 16" wheels, a piece of cardboard between them, just perfectly. When I went to FED EX they measured the boxes to be 19" X 19" X 17", and weighed 40 lbs. Oh well close enough. Thanks to Bruce for letting me know about these boxes.

FYI... you can also get the same size box from U-Haul. I received a set of wheels a long time ago in U-Haul boxes. :wink:

I dont remember how I shipped my old 20-spokes to Bill...I just remember spending hours cleaning them hoping he would be happy when they arrived.
Chadly sent me his Octastars in boxes like the HD ones...

Cheap Shipping for all bulk parts (wheels/tires.) Way cheaper than UPS and USPS
Go to www.Busfreighter.com for cheap shipping. Busfreighter is the broker for Greyhound Bus Service. Shipping from Bus station to Bus station is the best deal.
The Max shipping size is 30 x 47 x 82.
I have used them for shipping wheels and tires sold off my Doner Mark VIII from Virginia To California and a Mark VIII fuel tank to Texas.

Thanks for the info. In the spring I'll be selling some wheels, with tires, and might have to ship them. Semper Fi
