I guess that would leave the best stock gen 1 award up for grabs. At one time I had 4 cordovan MK VIII's. Saves time when ordering touch up paint. It's really cool that the bumpers are at the same height. Looking good !!!

I like the green, but I really wasn't looking for a green car when I bought either one, it just happened that way.

I really wanted that red garnet glaze convertible, but it was too much money for me.:)

And yes, I do remember the Lincoln Versilles.:)

In 1976 I was working on the assembly line, at the Cadillac Fleetwood Plant in Detroit. I adjusted doors and deck lids then.

We built the first 1976 Cadillac Seville, the competition for the Lincoln Versilles.

It was based on the Chevrolet Nova.:D

a "collector" who lives 5 miles from me has about 10 Versailles....he also has a large collection of MK IV's, V's and VI's
No VII's or VIII's but believe it or not, he's also a Pontiac Fiero freak.

Oh, and every car sits in random barns throughout his property that used to be livestock barns and he has many peacock's around so the place has mounds of peacock poop, and an odor you can smell for miles.

But, every car is kept under a cover and in pretty good shape...

He has some Bill Blass-looking, or Cartier-package something or other Versailles that was used for commercials that is a pink champagne with pearl-white interior that has 6k miles on it and is show quality....problem is, it's a versailles...and he wants $60k

I think the peacock poop went to his brain
