Took my car to the track today...

The only thing done to the car is: Jmod and a trac lok. It doesn't have the 3rd cat and it has SCP mufflers too if those are considered mods. It seemed to squeek the tires leaving the line about every time.

Density altitude this time of year kills ET due to temperature and humidity, so I wouldn't be surprised. What was your 60' times? I'm guessing 2.2 or higher?

Drag times site will calculate the density altitude for most tracks and also give corrected ET and trap speed based on your run(s).

Your 60' times predominately dictate your your ET. You can drop 2-3 tenths in ET for every tenth in your 60' time. While most people think HP is what they need to do better at the track, you will get better results improving your launch in most stock setups. This usually implies gears, converter and traction to maximize acceleration from the launch.

WOW!! I was expecting, or hoping for low 15s.
Corrected ET & MPH : Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines 15.18 @ 94.103 MPH
I think that qualifies. ;)

If you go to the track often it is imperative to track your corrected ETs if you are evaluating modifications. Use the same DA and corrected ET calculators and you should see improvement over time while realizing there will be some variance when comparing single runs.
