White Wall Tires

For any other car, white walls would be pretty much out of the question but what are your thoughts regarding the Town Car?

I recently purchased new tires and now wish I had gone with a subtle white wall.

Maybe it depends on the year?

I know GoodYear still has a couple tire brands with white stripes.

I think on a car like the Town Car in the trim package you have that it would look good.

With "LOD" Since 1997
i know they were big on caddies but i still think you can get the vogue tires, the white walls with a thin gold side wall

IMHO, unless your TC is a lowrider, I'd stay away from whitewalls. I had a juiced 85 Cutlass back in high school that was white and was SICK with the 14" wires and whitewalls, but I'd never put whitewalls on my Mark VIII, even though it is white as well.
Since you just got tires, I'd stay with those for now. But if you are itching for some rims (I know how it is), I'd go with some 5 spoke 20s with low pros, NOT no whitewalls. If you had a 72 Mark IV or a 79 Mark V, I'd say white walls all day. But not on a TC, sorry.

Definitely some food for thought and thanks. No, my TC is not a low rider but that could change if the air suspension gives up the ghost!

Remember how some used to run with their white walls mounted to the inside?

Yup, I'm only 25 but remember that people were doing it in Cali all day back in the late 90s cause whitewalls went out of style due to the bigger and bigger rims trend. And us rednecks were following suit with lifted trucks, putting tires on with lettering backwards.

LOL. Nothing wrong with that! I'm planning a trip to see family in Carter County, TN, a region of the country where everything on wheels rules. I will definitely be on white wall watch (but not for my Vette!).
