Thats very interesting, i was always trying to take weight out ! I guess i was going the wrong way with it. Obviously that only works to a certain extent though.
thats pretty quick and seems to be not to far from stock either. im not trying to brag or put him down here but im suprised at his 60' times that page says 2.08 with 3.73 gears. i have a stock gen 1 with a CAI, shift kit, MSD coils/wires and a 3200 stall on 245/50 street tires and pulled a 2.04 60'. was it like that because he had to "baby" it off the line to keep from spinning or was he spinning?
I know that I am really late in answering this, but I have recently put down three 1.94 60' times in a row. And you are correct, my 60's are so slow because I baby it off the line, else I blow the tires off. Reading later in this post makes me think about something, though... I never really put two and two together but I have put all my best times down on about 1/2 a tank of gas instead of the nearly empty that I normally run. I'm gonna have to start filling up before I hit the track and see what that does!
