The hotel thing is finally wrapping up.

As of tomorrow evening you will be able to make reservations for WFC8.

We will be under the Lincolns of Distinction's group. I'll have all the particulars posted tomorrow night for everyone.

The rate for a delux room (2 Queens or 1 King) will be $89.99 + tax. I will know for sure tomorrow whether or not we get free parking.

For those of you who think the rate is a little high let me give you my sales pitch. You walk into the hotel and the first thing you notice is the lobby is smoothered in marble, with wood and crystal accents. ... .ok forget all of that, it is a nice hotel.

Free long distance (60 min. per room per night)
Free evening beverages and snacks (beer and wine on Fri. and Sat)
Free high speed internet
Garage Parking (currently the rate is $12 per night, but keep your fingers crossed for free parking)

This hotel is right in the middle of downtown St. Louis. Your a block from Bush Stadium, a block from the Arch, walking distance to Laceles Landing. Free Casino shuttles :) Not to mention just a short 5 - 10 minute drive to the track.

Thanks for working that out Jay. I do want to come but i'm strapped for cash right now. As much as i want to come i would still rather buy a 27' Fountain :)

The group block is set up.... but all the info is in my car.... which is outside.... and I'm lazy.

So I'll get that posted later tonight.

But its $89 per night again, and on the parking we have to wait and see how many rooms are group reserves before they can waive parking.

In addition all the queen delux rooms were booked allready. There are 10 king rooms blocked at the $89 rate. If you are going to share a room, and need 2 queens ask for the queen delux room with a view. Then post here or send me a PM to let me know and I'll go back in and change your rate.

The cutoff date for the negotiated rate is May 1st.
