Just amde it tonight car drives like stock. Ambient temps were about 75-80*, inlet temps @ 8psi with meth were only 110* The meth causes temps to drop about 40*F with 35% meth/water.

Honestly I dont think its fast enough yet. Converter will be next.

RE: 352RWHP @ 6100RPM

Congrats, those are some good #s. Did you hook the meth up to you washer fluid bottle?

How much power do you want out of your mark?

RE: 352RWHP @ 6100RPM

I know I could break the 400 figure if I spun it antoher 1000RPm or so which if you look at the dyno graph it doesnt show any signs fo dropping off.

Powers all about what you do with ti for me, I wold like a mid 12second careventually. I am hoping to ass a converter and 3.73s with some MT DRs and the driver mod and see where I am at,

I am going out to the track tomorrow hopefully.

And yea I wanted the low washer fluid warning, so I just drilled and tapped the lowerst part of the washer tank. Its just a barb fitting.

I would normally berate myself for doing this, btu there was a lot of clear area and no pedestrians:

hehe , Sweet job and nice vid. Get us some vids of the track man, i wanna see that thing scream.
Just curious. Do you find it runs cooler with the front nose beauty cover off like you got it? Or with it on to force the air into the radiator as it comes through grill? I'm battling some cooling issues with radiant header heat and was curious if im going to run mine without the beauty cover to let more air swirl around in there. It's not over heating or anything, but i want it to run alot cooler with less heat soak at track. I got some DEI blankets for the headers comming in mail. Well see if that helps?

The Cobra style hood moves alot of air thru it to lower the op temps, while still keeping the valance on as well (forcing air thru the radiator).

You can also pull off the rubber seal at the cowl allowing hot air to escape at the track. Simple enough to replace at the end of the day.

I've found that the most effective, relatively simple things to reduce heat is to bypass the OEM tranny cooler (only going through a custom cooler), and pouring a couple bottles of Redline's Water Wetter into the cooling system. These two items alone will lower your operating temp by 30 degrees, or two letters on your temp gauge. My car stays on the "L" under normal conditions (with a 180 tstat), and rises to the "A" on a hot day with the AC on.

Congrats. I can understand why you do not think the car is fast enough yet.

haha why did you say that Ponyfreak? Did he get a ride in the monster Viper? I'd think i was driving a 6 cylinder again if i did to compare the acceleration.
Post some vids of the Viper at track in different post or the white car updates. I was following that one too but i lost track.
Or bring the Viper to SSHS 6 and you could charge people in the grandstands for rides down the track in that beast. lol Not many people can say they have gotten a ride in a Viper hitting 1000HP. Plus we all get to meet ya. I was following your posts back when the Lincoln board was still one board.

RE: 352RWHP @ 6100RPM

Drove out to the track wed. night. CLOSED FOR WORLD STREET NATIONALS ON FRIDAY!!!!

I was pissed as hell cause I called twice and the answering machine said nothing abut clsoe for T&T.xo x( xo x(

It will run cooler forcing the air through there. I just havent done it yet. I have no cool running problems, but my air intake temps at the end of a pass will pretty much always be 110* or less. Right now I have cheap coolant in there and it setup like that (my fan is kinda hacked up) and have made sveral long trips and have sat in traffic with no cooling issues what so ever. Stays right in the middle all the time.

This is also on cheap oil. And stock trans cooler (Yes it will all be getting changed out soon, I got a 40K cooler just havent ordered lines for it yet.)

Look for a long empty road in the countryside with nothing around but you and asphalt and let it fly like all Lincolns like to do weekly.
I aggree with the above post on bypasing the stock radiator cooling fins. That is how im running mine now, straight into the tranny cooler and back into tranny. The tranny is fine and all fluid changes the fluid is not burnt and still nice and red color, so its liking it and never runs hot. It's the engine bay thats getting too hot for my liking. I will be cutting out the inside layer of rear hood like Lonnie's car to get more air sucked out. Also i haven't been running the firewall rubber seal for quite a while now.
I wanted to use my old B&M tranny cooler for an oil cooler with remote filter setup, but havent gotten around to that project yet.

RE: 352RWHP @ 6100RPM

I just rmemebered that I have an old GTech...now I just need a 1/4 mile long road.

RE: 352RWHP @ 6100RPM

Nice ride, there is nothing like supercharged power in a mark.
I installed another bottle in the grill area for the Meth and am running straight 99.9% alcohol, it is called air brake alcohol that is used on heavy trucks.
The alcohol dropped the inlet temp from 180 degrees down to 66 on the initial hit and it rose back to about 90 at the end of the dyno run.
I also bypassed the tranny cooler and installed a HD truck cooler
Lidio added 5 degrees timing and removed 30 % fuel with the meth
I will post pics later of the install

RE: 352RWHP @ 6100RPM

Where are you measuring temp? What was ambient temp with these runs? What nozzle/what pump are you using? You got a much higher temp drop then an me which doesn't amke sense. Water should cause a lot bigger temp drop than alcohol, this of course isn't true if youre running a bigger nozle or moving more alky through the nozzle.
