Drove out to the track wed. night. CLOSED FOR WORLD STREET NATIONALS ON FRIDAY!!!!I was pissed as hell cause I called twice and the answering machine said nothing abut clsoe for T&T.xo x( xo x( It will run cooler forcing the air through there. I just havent done it yet. I have no cool running problems, but my air intake temps at the end of a pass will pretty much always be 110* or less. Right now I have cheap coolant in there and it setup like that (my fan is kinda hacked up) and have made sveral long trips and have sat in traffic with no cooling issues what so ever. Stays right in the middle all the time. This is also on cheap oil. And stock trans cooler (Yes it will all be getting changed out soon, I got a 40K cooler just havent ordered lines for it yet.)

Look for a long empty road in the countryside with nothing around but you and asphalt and let it fly like all Lincolns like to do weekly.
I aggree with the above post on bypasing the stock radiator cooling fins. That is how im running mine now, straight into the tranny cooler and back into tranny. The tranny is fine and all fluid changes the fluid is not burnt and still nice and red color, so its liking it and never runs hot. It's the engine bay thats getting too hot for my liking. I will be cutting out the inside layer of rear hood like Lonnie's car to get more air sucked out. Also i haven't been running the firewall rubber seal for quite a while now.
I wanted to use my old B&M tranny cooler for an oil cooler with remote filter setup, but havent gotten around to that project yet.
