94 Mark VIII Convertible Progress Thread

Got the doors hung and most of the car pretty well buffed. I will go over everything again once its put back together.

The past couple days I've been going at it pretty good. I have:

Fixed drivers side door handle
Cleaned and retaped door moldings
Mounted and ballanced the chrome 20 spokes
Removed the trailer hitch
Primed and sanded rear bumpers

Tonight I'm going to paint the bumpers and fuel door then everything will have ben painted.

Tomorrow I'm going to spend a big chunk of the day putting most everything back together.

My goal is to have it on the road by this time next week.

Ill post pics of the progress tonight and tomorrow.

I love the 20 spoke chrome directionals... :D

IMO the best looking MK8 wheels, especially on a 1st gen.

You know what else I love in 1st gens... :p
 
I got the rear bumper on, front bumper and grille on, both doors put together, and its ALMOST finished!
 
That car looks beautiful! Can't wait to see it at Carlisle.

I agree, it looks great with the 20 spokes.

I just put 20 spokes on my black Mark too.:D
 
Ive got a little more polishing to do but here she is. I never did install the mouldings. oh well. It will give me something to do tomorrow.
