Excellent job Jamie. I am absolutey in awe that you could perform that sort of transformation on paint that to the uninitiated would seem completely unsalvageable!!! I would have went and got an estimate on a paint job immediately.
Can what you did be done on a car with "delaminating" clearcoat? My 98' has GREAT paint, but the clearcoat is kinda chipping ( an auto body guy at a shop I went to called it delaminating) on the roof only, just behind the sunroof. I thought I absolutely needed a paint job, but now you make me wonder....
 
i can fix cleatcoat issues without repainting but alot of people wont take the time to do what i do, they just want to sand, shoot, get it out and charge you out the wazzzoooooo. but yes i have on my own 93, fixed some clearcoat problems where it was fading off in places.
