Anyone Remember that bagged lincoln?

the owner is dead dude, jeeze jesse, that was ray's car, i have no idea what happend to that car after ray died though. usually you dont get rid of your car to someone if you die though its kind of hard to pull off.

Sad news, I guess Ray the owner passed away back in 2008. :(

Umm...duh, my 3rd post.

The NEW owner FOOL!? You've been saying his brother bought it, painted it, blah blah. Come on, keep up Jamie! :)

no i didnt read it again, ray had two mark VIII's, the green one, which you showed, i then told you he painted the car white, then he passed away. his other car was cranberry metallic, ray's brother jason took that car out of storage and repainted it the same color, just freshend it up and put it back on the road in rays memory. i can see how you got confused. i dont know what happend to the green/white mark.

I'll send a PM to his brother.

I'm curious to what happened to that white car now.:D

Jesse you don't want to go that low... Ray wanted that car to "lay frame" and it required extensive modifications that would be completely useless to anyone but someone who wanted to accomplish that particular feat.

For the front, you just need to remove the bump stops, I remember that much. The rears....I think it could be accomplished if I had skinny back tires. :)

If you want the rear to lay lower get some 89' tbird rear shock. The shocks are longer then the mark eights and will give a longer stroke ( hahahah I said stroke) thus letting the car go lower.

I'm trying to find my old links to that green custom lowered Gen 1 (I think). He removed the bump stops, drilled valves into the stock bags, had a custom tank holder or something in the trunk.

Stinkin Lincoln or Wicked Lincoln or something.....

Ray was, and his family is, what I call good people.

The "Ray Switch" is basically a suspension mod to slam the car when parked. He used to be in the mini-truck low-rider scene and saw the Mark VIII suspension as a natural extension of one of his passions.

I actually think the 'bagged Lincoln' you refer to was likely Kale's?
I think your right.
If your talking fast bag modified car.
+1 on good people.

I doubt Kale's and the AssassinVIIIor are one and the same.

Nope kale and ray never had the same car. Two totally different cars. Ray's is the car in the pic above and that pic is before he painted white. Rip ray.
